| Career Development / Tuition Reimbursement Program: Reimbursement at the state equivalent rate for college

| "Jean Days": Casual dress days, typically Fridays each week; employees contribute $1 to specified causes to be able to wear jeans. | ||||||||||||
| Life Insurance and Long Term Disability: Agency-paid plan. Employee is automatically enrolled into plan
following 90 day provisional (waiting) period. Benefit at 1x annual salary; LTD at 60% of monthly salary after waiting period. An additional Life Insurance plan through TransAmerica Corporation is also available at the employee's option and cost. |

| Loan Deferment/Cancellation: Deferment and/or cancellation of student loans; certain restrictions apply per loan agreement. | ||||||||||||

| Negotiated Schedule: Negotiated annually with supervisor adjustments can made to beginning or ending times of an individual's daily work schedule to allow ½ hour or 1 hour lunch. | ||||||||||||
| Pay Schedule: Bi-weekly pay schedule; 10-month staff can "spread out" over 12 months per employee election. | ||||||||||||
| Personal Time: 10-month center staff can receive 3 days per school year according to a defined schedule (Sept 1, Dec1, Mar 1); Time may be carried over to consecutive school years, up to 6 days max; 12-month staff receive 1 day per year (Sept 1). | ||||||||||||
| Physical Exam: Committed to keeping staff healthy, bi-annual exams are required with a reimbursement up to $25. | ||||||||||||
| Retirement Plans: (1) Employer-only contribution savings plan for retirement with investment opportunities); (2) Tax Deferred Annuity plan is a voluntary employee-only contribution program with investment opportunities. | ||||||||||||

| School Schedule: Operating on a school-year basis preschool Head Start staff work Sept-June with a summer break; the Early Head Start Home Visiting program operates on a 12 month schedule; and a summer Jump Start program runs for a limited time in July | ||||||||||||
| Sick Days: Paid time off for the purposes of illness. Accrual begins the first day of work, based on hours worked. Average number of days accrued per year is 11; maximum accrual is 65 days. | ||||||||||||
| Sign-On Bonus: $500 for applicants hired with bilingual abilities; award given following successful completion of provisional period. | ||||||||||||
